As we continue on this journey of innovation and growth, we are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Your Role:

As a Data Engineer at UniversityBox, you will play a pivotal role in the development and support of our DataLake, which serves as a critical data source for analytics within the company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing data ingestion pipelines and stored procedures (extraction, cleaning, storing) which will link the external sources (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook ads) to DataLake
• Creating a robust relational architecture for data from new external systems
• Configuring CI/CD pipelines for data processes
• Implementing data quality alerts and monitoring solutions
• Collaborating closely with Data Scientists to deliver high-quality data products
• Opportunity to gain experience in the analytical field by assisting in data analysis, building machine learning models, and creating dashboards under the guidance of our experts

Skills Required:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure Cloud Services: Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Application Insight, Azure Monitor, Azure Devops
• Relational database design and development (MySQL experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL is a plus)
• Good knowledge of at least one programming language (Python or PHP is a plus)
• Experience with Spark Framework is a plus
• Language fluency in Italian or English
